Good news everyone !
The scanner database is now accessible through a REST API (read-only, except for IronScanner).
This API allows anyone to download the reports for any work they may want to do. For instance, I intend to use it to download the scans attached to the reports and try to use them to figure out an algorithm to automatically find the page borders in the images.
