No scanners found on ubuntu / flatpak

I recently updated Ubuntu and paperwork and paperwork stopped finding my scanner.

I followed the advice for flatpak and systemd tells me that paperwork connected to saned. However, no scanner shows up in the paperwork settings.

scanimage -L shows the scanner

Any further advice?

To which version of Ubuntu have you updated ?
